Katara Planetarium
One of our proudest moments happened at Katara cultural village Qatar, working on the Planetarium. Occupying 2,240sqm area, it is one of the main attractions at Katara. It offers a rare experience to visitors, blending education and entertainment, highlighting that MOSECO Technology developed all content used on KIOSKs in-house, including interactive educational content. All our interactive material is mainly focused on delivering information about astronomy suitable for all age groups and with its interactive features they give a great idea about astronomy in an interesting and simplified manner.
The main component of the Planetarium is a full-dome digital system with a 200-seating capacity, four seats for the disabled and another four for the elderly. It features a 22-meter screen, equipped with state-of-the-art digital projectors showing 2D and 3D tutorial shows.
Working on Al Thuraya Planetarium, MOSECO Technology has managed to successfully install eight indoor interactive digital signage kiosks and one self-ticketing kiosk. We proudly acclaim all our kiosks for they were all manufactured in Qatar with integrated high-end hardware components. Seven kiosks are providing interactive educational facts and information about scholars and astronomy, whilst the eighth kiosk allows users to check differences in weight between the planets. The self-ticketing kiosk for the auditorium is equipped to accept either cash or card payments.
