MOSECO: Qatari Expert in Cybersecurity

In a three-day Milipol Qatar 2021 event, MOSECO and partners joined leaders from the homeland and civil defense industry to present current solutions in the world of cybersecurity in order to secure a safer world. 

​During a three-day exhibition, Milipol Qatar 2021 gathered exhibitors from 17 countries worldwide in the homeland security and civil defense domain. In this highly-regarded event, together with our partners from Rohde & Schwarz, T3K Forensics, Softech, LockMagic, and CrowdStrike, we have jointly demonstrated the usage of our hardware and software solutions. Since the event proved to be a fertile ground for new profitable and sustainable technologies and ensures more resource efficiency, we have successfully encouraged new business contacts and collaboration. 

With our partners from Rohde & Schwarz, we showcased an extensive portfolio of system solutions for radio monitoring and drone detection. The company’s receivers, direction finders, antennas, signal analysis solutions, and customized systems have made Rohde & Schwarz a reliable partner for many decades. With solutions to support public safety and security organizations, military operators, and regulatory authorities in the area of radio monitoring and network analysis, this reliability continues to thrive. To protect critical infrastructures against the threat of drones, Rohde & Schwarz offers the R&S ARDRONIS drone detection solution. R&S ARDRONIS quickly detects and locates these flying devices based on their remote control signals. The Rohde & Schwarz monitoring and direction finding systems are ideal for stationary, mobile, and portable deployment.

Also, with our partners from T3K Forensics, we were focused on demonstrating the deployment of LEAP and Biometrics solutions. T3K is set out to revolutionize the analysis of big amounts of smartphone data, by automating time-consuming work with the use of artificial intelligence, which is done through the automated analysis process, where viewing time of these challenging content is significantly minimized. LEAP allows the use of smartphones to identify persons, as well as to probe for possible incriminating material – for example at immigration checkpoints or in ongoing mobile forensic investigations. Moreover, with Biometetrics solutions we aim to remove the extra step from the process and make it not only possible but also easy to take fingerprints and headshots in the right formats, simply using the smartphone camera. Different applications of these technologies can be used by the Police, as well as Immigration or Employment authorities, but can also be offered as a service to private persons.

With Softech, an IT consultant and System Integrator firm, we exhibited an open-source intelligence solution, which offers organizations and agencies access to comprehensive analytical reports on entities or specific people of interest, called InGrav PeopleMon. InGrav PeopleMon combines data analytics technology with a groundbreaking knowledge base, including a repository of 20 years worth of data covering hundreds of millions worldwide. InGrav PeopleMon allows agencies and companies to create a comprehensive profile of people, where investigators can search and access billions of profiles, including family, relatives, addresses, photos, contact info, emails, social media data, breaches data, etc. The data is collected from various data sources and is ready to use at any time.

On the cybersecurity domain, we presented the features of our Email, Files, Folders & Collaboration Platform LockMagic. Our patented identity-based encryption technology enables people to secure and share information anywhere without the need for passwords. Users seamlessly share files and grant access to others by simply using their email address eliminating the need to exchange and manage passwords or certificates. During the event, we demonstrated onsite implementation of the platform and its features - from sending encrypted attachments directly from windows explorer and saving encrypted content in any location, to opening the encrypted content on a webpage without any client installation and creating policy templates for authorized users and content control instances, and so much more.

Raising awareness that it doesn’t take much effort to misuse modern information and communications technology for illegal purposes, public safety and security authorities need state-of-the-art technology to counter this situation. Teaming up with leading technology providers to detect and ward off threats at an early stage and track criminal offenses, MOSECO and partners have concluded the event successfully and are open to collaboration in the sphere which gathered us in this year’s Milipol. Occasions like these, which bring together a variety of different approaches, knowledge, and solutions, are the way through which we say that we all reached a remarkable achievement both at a local and global scale.
